Jean, this is one of my favorite flowering plants! I had one in Oakland, and I was so fortunate that one came with the house I now am in. And you're right, one of the most gorgeous flowers out there. And, Oh! the colors =) I bet your Mom might like to try to capture them on paper. Hmmmm.
